HANNIBAL Is Having A Hard Time

by Joey Pedras (@joeypedras)

Recently cancelled by NBC (not surprised) the show passionately loved by its fans is trying to find a new home elsewhere.

The show, developed by Bryan Fuller shares this troubling news on Twitter last night:

@MikeBarbre I’M SORRY TO REPORT @amazon AND @netflix HAVE PASSED ON #HANNIBAL S4 BUT WE’RE STILL INVESTIGATING POSSIBILITIES

— Bryan Fuller (@BryanFuller) July 6, 2015

Not very encouraging, but there is still hope that it could be picked up by Hulu or maybe even Yahoo! NBC is notorious for cancelling shows loved by millions, and in recent years those shows have gone on to find new life elsewhere. Scrubs for example found new life on ABC for it’s final season (and one season of a new spinoff) after being cancelled. Turns out, millions were watching. More recently, the famously protected Community found new life on Yahoo! which, as it turns out, is also being watched by millions.

Well, NBC’s losses are pretty much anyone else’s gain. I’m confident Hannibal will find new life elsewhere as long as there’s a large, dedicated fanbase willing to fight.
