The Brothers Chaps (Homestar Runner) and James Ernest (Cheapass Games) have come together via Kickstarter (FULLY FUNDED 7/17/18) to present:
Trogdor!! The Board Game
Now, through the magic of giving someone your money, you will be able to play as Keepers of Trogdor, dedicated to helping in full decimation of all peasants, land and thatched huts. Trogdor will burninate the entire village, but only with your help.
The base level donation gets you a pretty sweet board, box and painted wooden meeples. (Sooo cool!)
The next donation level up gets you the same game, in addition to the meeples, you will be granted plastic minis in full colored detail!
At the Wyrmwood Beefy Tier you get a wyrmwood board, the entire contents of the game, including the fully detailed plastic minis!
At the Wyrmwood Consummate level you get everything above plus a stylish but lazy susan on which to play the very game you’re backing!
Pretty fancy stuff, with more to come as stretch-goals are met.

We’re off to the races with Amazon’s annual Prime Day deals hitting consumers all across the nation. Anticipation was at an all-time high at 3 PM Eastern time, and now many people are being treated to “server down” screens and pictures of cute puppies. This reporter was hoping for a chance to purchase a Nintendo switch at a discounted rate went to my chagrin, I was met with a flurry of errors. Now while it is still early on Amazon prime day one has to wonder how worth it it actually is.
Now while there are a very good amount of deals in the bunch they are few and far between. If you’re looking for deals on movies, music, and gaming you might be mildly successful. Now the full range of deals aren’t yet available, so keep your eye out and your F5 finger at the ready. Let’s see what ambles out of the Amazon forest on this error-ridden, uncertain beginning of Prime Day.

Mark Z. Danielewski is having none of that.
A short month ago, first in a Facebook discussion group, then to the wider world, Danielewski revealed a pilot script for a recently defunct attempt at bringing House of Leaves to the small streaming screen. Disagreement abound, the project (for now?) has come to a halt, but the germ of the idea has been planted.
Fans and critics alike have been swept up in the unsurprisingly ambitious turn that the pilot script has taken. Much like current “peak” television, Danielewski has crafted a pilot that is beyond description. Distilling the tones contained in which is sure to go down as his Magnum Opus, MZD shows a deft hand at mediums beyond literature ad photography.
For those familiar, MZD has been hard and fast on “if you want to see the movie, read the book.”
