JUSTICE LEAGUE is set to be released November 2017.

Super Mario Odyssey – New Mario platformer on the way

Nintendo just announced and displayed a trailer, which you can watch below, for the new Super Mario Odyssey which takes Mario on a global adventure. Will this be the invigorating vacation Mario needs? Probably not. But here’s hoping it’s a great game anyway. The Switch comes to us March 3rd, Super Mario Odyssey comes to us some time during the holidays later this year.

Very Sorry to Have to Announce

Lemony Snicket’s ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’ has finally gotten a release date.

Read no further if you’re in a happy mood, dear Nerd Hall fans, as there is nothing good to come from reading this article.

The Netflix adaptation of the fiercly popular young adult book series has finally announced, in a trailer, which here means, a short video introduction to the content and concept of a film or television show, earlier today.

We can expect to begin suffering the sorrowful tale of the Baudelaire Orphans come this January, the 13th 2017. Be wary to stay far from the internet, or even a WiFi connection on that day, you may accidentally access these Vile Filmed Documentations.

Starring the likes of Patrick Warburton (Seinfeld, The Tick), Neil Patrick Harris (Doogie Howser M.D., How I Met Your Mother), Louis Hines, and Malina Weissman to name a few, it is sure to bring a tear to your eye and then a steadier stream of tears, even now knowing what’s coming next in this article I am crying, it is almost too hard too see to keep typing.

You can, if you have the will, view the trailer below where we get to see Mr. Warburton deliver some grave news as a very good representation of Mr. Snicket. Where ever he may actually be, I am sure he is displeased.

Press play, grab a tissue and continue to wait in silent apprehension for the coming of January 13th, 2017. If you do choose to keep the Very Feared Date down on your calendar as one to return to Netflix, I can do nothing else but warn you, you will be off to a very sad start of a not so great year.

I tried.

Stick to Nerd Hall for more depressing, and some less depressing news as it comes to us, in fits and starts, in ebbs and flows and bit by bit down the pop culture pipes, now rusted and in need of repair. Keep an eye on your sugar bowl.

Have a Very Find Day, if you can manage.

Twin Peaks News

by Anthony Wetmore (@TheMisterPipes, GhostConch)

That gum you like will come back in style, but not quite when you think. Earlier today it was announced that David Lynch will film the upcomming 3rd season of Twin Peaks for Showtime on 35mm film and will push the release date into sometime in 2017. Mark Frost was quoted in an A.V. Club as saying “…

The challenge for us is to try and come back and raise the bar above what we did the last time. We’re coming back…after a 25-year absence. We’ve finished the scripts, we start production in September, and that will be coming out on Showtime sometime in 2017.”

What are your thoughts? Can you wait another calendar year for the return of Special Agent Dale Cooper, deep black coffee and cherry pie at the Double R?

I have high hopes but even temper for the coming season, whenever we get it, it will make quite an impact.
