Can The Flash Dance?

On March 21st we’re going to truly see if Barry Allen has quick feet. We will finally be able to gander with glee the highly anticipated Flash/Supergirl musical crossover episode!

Darren Criss (Glee, A Very Potter Musical) will take on the role of the Music Meister, a villain originally portrayed by Neil Patrick Harris in the Batman: Brave and The Bold animated series. As we no-so-subtlety eluded to earlier, fans of Glee will be elated with this very small cast reunion (Grant Gustin and Melissa Benoist were also characters on the show.) According to Entertainment Weekly, our heroes will be trapped in an alternate reality where life is exactly like a movie music (probably chock full of La La Land references as well.)

The crossover is set to begin toward the end of the March 20th episode of Supergirl  and run through the majority of March 22st’s episode of The Flash on The CW.

NEW GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 TEASER

Two words: Baby. Groot.

We have just been treated with a brand new teaser trailer from the upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2, and boy is it fun. There’s so much fantastic Rocket Racoon and Baby Groot action, and it’s totally irresistible. It’s really difficult to the deny the tiny, adorable badass that is Baby Groot. Aside from the miniature, lovable arbor we see a whole lot of action bundled up with the iconic humor we can to love in the first Guardians of the Galaxy. The film is set to release May 5th 2017 so it maybe a little while before we see a full trailer, but keep your eyes peeled. There’s also no indication of The Avengers just yet, but with Infinity War on the horizon something is bound to happen.

Suicide Squad – Extended Cut to be Released

Zack Snyder’s Suicide Squad, the stumbling hulk of a successful anti-hero film starring Margot Robbie, Will Smith, and Jared Leto (sort of) has just released a short trailer announcing an extended cut with 13 minutes of additional footage to further flesh out the story that was hacked apart after tumultuous test-screenings harbored an apparent need for a levity injection.

Will we see the initially intended darker side of the Squad, and perhaps more exciting, more of Jared Leto’s merciless gangster-flavored Joker?

Only time will tell. Needless to say we’re excited to see what the extended cut will bring when it finally arrives.

You can pick up Suicide Squad Extended Cut DVD /  HD DVD  on November 15, 2016 and the Blu-ray on December 13, 2016

Title Of Solo Batman Movie Revealed (Sort Of)

image

Earlier today in an interview with Associated Press, Affleck revealed that the name of the upcoming Batman film will be appropriately titled, The Batman. He also mentions that this is the title they’re going with “for now” so it’s possible that it will change at some point in the future.

Affleck also mentions that the script writing process is going really well, and we’ll be updated as the process moves forward.

What do you think of The Batman as the title for the upcoming solo film? Too basic or does it say all it needs to? Let us know!

Batffleck Gets A New Batsuit

Zach Snyder tweeted this photo from the set of Justice League. Today is also the last day of filming for the upcoming movie which means we got a shot of this new tactical batsuit. Seems a little more rigid, a little more ready for a firefight. The former batsuit was much more practical for easier movement and hiding in the shadows. This suit is clearly preparation for what one could assume will be a serious beatdown. Steppenwolf perhaps? Time will tell.

Justice League is set for release November 17, 2017
